BCORMA FAQ's
Where does my BCORMA Trail Supporter insurance cover me?
The BCORMA Trail Supporter policy covers you anywhere you can legally ride in Canada or the continental United States (unit must still be used at least 60% of the time in BC).
What liability limits can I buy on the BCORMA Trail Supporter policy?
You only have an option for $ 2,000,000 limit on Third Party Liability while being operated by a listed operator(s) on the policy.
Sometimes I lend my machine to someone else. Am I still covered?
The BCORMA Trial Insured policy follows and covers YOU or other listed operators on your policy ONLY for damages caused to others (Third Party Liability), but if you have purchased the stand-alone physical damage policy then the damages caused to the insured trailbike itself would be covered if some else was riding it and damaged it with your permission.
Can I add multiple operators to my BCORMA Trail Support Insurance Policy?
Yes, you can, if the operators are in the same household and are legally allowed to operate a trail bike.
Is it cheaper to add multiple operators from my household to the same policy or do stand alone policies for each household member?
The premiums would be lower if you added each of the household operators to the same policy as each additional operators get discounted premium.
How do I cover the physical damage on my trail bike(s) as the Trail Insured policy only covers third party liability and accident benefits?
You will have to purchase a stand-alone policy at insuretoys.ca and schedule each trail bike on the policy as the physical damage coverage follow the scheduled unit which is different from the Trail Supporter Insurance policy which follows the operator.
